Environmental Project Manager

Plexus Scientific Corporation, a leading environmental consulting firm headquartered in Alexandria, Virginia, is seeking an experienced Environmental Project Manager to join our team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a portfolio of environmental remediation projects, ensuring timely completion, and meeting client expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks and resources to meet project deadlines.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineers, scientists, and project coordinators, to ensure project success.
  • Develop and implement project plans, budgets, and schedules, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct site visits, monitor project progress, and identify potential risks and opportunities for improvement.
  • Communicate project status, progress, and issues to stakeholders, including clients, team members, and senior management.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in environmental project management, preferably in a consulting firm or government agency.
  • Proven track record of managing multiple projects simultaneously, with a strong focus on client satisfaction and project delivery.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Strong knowledge of environmental regulations, policies, and procedures, with the ability to apply this knowledge to project management.
