Job Summary

We are seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team at Hoosier Village. As a CNA, you will care for residents under the direction of nursing and medical staff. The shifts are 12 hours, and we require coverage every other weekend.

Responsibilities
  • Answer signal lights to determine residents' needs
  • Help residents bathe, dress, and undress
  • Turn and reposition bedfast residents
  • Take and record residents' temperature, blood pressure, pulse, and respiration rates
  • Serve and collect food trays and feed residents that require help
  • Transport residents by wheelchair or by assisting them to walk
  • Clean, sterilize, store, prepare, and issue dressing packs, treatment trays, and other supplies
  • Perform other needed tasks like running errands, directing visitors, and answering the telephone
  • Other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Requirements
  • Certified as a CNA in Indiana and in good standing
