Job Title: Assembly Manager

At VPI Technology, a division of Ludlum Measurement, Inc., we are seeking an experienced Assembly Manager to lead our Operations Team. This key management position is responsible for overseeing the assembly and testing of our hand-held products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team of over 50 employees in 8 departments, ensuring smooth and efficient assembly flow.
  • Communicate effectively with Quality, Design Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Sales, and Accounting teams.
  • Delegate responsibility to supervisors and leads throughout the facility.
  • Identify and correct inefficient processes to decrease costs while increasing profitability.
  • Assist other departments and lines of business to achieve their goals and objectives.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineering or Industrial Management.
  • 3-5 years of direct operations management experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience with new product launches is a plus.
  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
