Job Summary:

The Coach Cleaner is responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and sanitation of passenger train cars and equipment. This role requires attention to detail, strong work ethic, and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Clean and sanitize all surfaces, fixtures, and equipment in passenger train cars.
  • Empty wastebaskets and transport trash to disposal area.
  • Replenish bathroom supplies and clean restrooms.
  • Dust and polish furniture and equipment.
  • Polish metalwork and wash windows.
  • Notify supervisor of any faulty equipment or maintenance needs.

Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience in janitorial services preferred.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to lift, push, pull, or carry objects up to 75 pounds.

Work Environment:
  • Work in all weather conditions and various hours of day, night, or weekends.
  • Regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts and outside weather conditions.
  • Occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles.
