Job Description:

The Infection Preventionist II will play a critical role in supporting our efforts to prevent and control infections in our hospitals. This individual will work closely with our clinical teams to identify areas for improvement and implement evidence-based practices. The ideal candidate will have experience in quality assurance, epidemiology, or a related field, and possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement infection control policies and procedures
  • Conduct risk assessments and audits to identify areas for improvement
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement quality improvement initiatives
  • Provide education and training on infection control topics

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Certification in Infection Control and Epidemiology (CIC)
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in quality assurance, epidemiology, or related field
