Position Overview
This is a full-time RN role operating on a Day/Night shift within the PACU, Surgical Services department. Responsibilities include evaluating assigned patients, planning, implementing, and documenting nursing care. You will assist physicians during examinations and procedures, conduct various patient tests, and administer medications in accordance with the registered nurse's scope of practice.
Encouraging patient independence is key, as you will establish care goals and educate patients and their families on conditions, medications, and self-care techniques.
This role requires reliance on experience and judgment to set and achieve goals, with a variety of tasks expected. A high degree of creativity and autonomy is anticipated. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. A minimum of an associate's degree and certification as a registered nurse is required, along with familiarity with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the nursing field.About Us
