As a Direct Support Professional, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care and support to adults with brain injury in our residential programs.
Key Responsibilities- Provide minimum to maximum assistance and/or supervision to promote clients' success in daily living tasks, recreational activities, and vocational pursuits.
- Assist clients with personal care and hygiene, therapies, and driving and accompanying clients to appointments, activities, and other outings.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with clients, families, professionals, and co-workers.
- Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination.
- A high school diploma or GED is required; an associate's or bachelor's degree is preferred.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must have a valid driver's license and maintain responsible driving behaviors.
- The ability to communicate effectively with diverse populations and demonstrate positive client interaction skills is essential.
