About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Power Validation Engineer to join our team at Capgemini Engineering. As a key member of our electrical engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and developing electrical test plans to validate the complete power sub-system of our products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement electrical test plans to validate power supply designs, including DC-DC converters, multi-phase regulators, LED/Display backlight drivers, and battery chargers.
  • Conduct VR testing, including SMPS, LDO, LDSW in battery-operated systems.
  • Perform VR measurements, including Line-Load Regulation, Noise, Ripple, Efficiency, OCP, OVLO, Static Load, and Transient Load Testing.
  • Validate Point-of-Load (POL) testing.
  • Develop and maintain expertise in power design validation for consumer electronics products, including battery-operated devices.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of electrical test plans with overall product development.
Requirements
  • Strong understanding of electrical engineering principles and fundamental power circuit validation concepts.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with experience in root cause analysis techniques for power supply circuit issues.
  • Proficiency in using hardware design validation equipment, such as Mixed Signal Oscilloscope, DC Power Analyzer, Electronic Load, DMM, and DC power supplies.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects.
