Job Title: Payments Systems Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Payments Systems Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will design and implement payment processing systems that ensure fast, secure, and compliant transactions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement payment processing systems that meet regulatory standards (e.g., HIPAA, PCI-DSS, SOC 2)
  • Lead the integration of banking APIs, payment gateways, and other financial services into our platform
  • Work closely with the product and business teams to streamline and automate the healthcare revenue cycle
  • Ensure payment systems are scalable, highly available, and able to support rapid growth
  • Build and maintain APIs that facilitate smooth interactions between our platform, financial institutions, and healthcare payment systems
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 3 years focused on payment systems and revenue cycle management
  • Knowledge of healthcare billing, claims processing, and collections
  • Familiarity with key regulatory standards such as HIPAA, PCI-DSS, and SOC 2
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or JavaScript, and experience with financial services APIs (e.g., Stripe, Plaid, PayPal)
