Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Nursing Leadership Professional to join our team in the Acute Specialty Care PCU at Norton Healthcare. As an Assistant Nurse Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing daily operations and providing exceptional patient care. Your expertise in creating a positive work environment, promoting quality outcomes, and supporting staff development is crucial to our success.

Responsibilities:

You will oversee a patient care area/departments with a focus on delivering safe, effective, and family-centered care. Collaborate with the Nurse Manager to maintain a financially stable unit and promote professional growth within the department. You will supervise licensed and non-licensed staff members and take on direct care roles when needed, developing and implementing plans of care that adhere to evidence-based practices. Additionally, you will ensure that Swanson's Theory of Caring and patient-centered care principles guide your practice, and you will foster an environment where all staff members are involved in resource allocation and interdisciplinary activities.

Requirements:

To be considered for this role, you must have a strong background in nursing leadership, including at least one year of experience as a Registered Nurse. A Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or higher is preferred, but a plan to obtain a BSN, MSN, or DNP within three years is required. A current RN licensure in Kentucky is also mandatory. While a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing is desired, we welcome applicants with Master's or Doctoral Degrees in Nursing.

Compensation and Benefits:
