Job Title: Certified Nursing Assistant - Evening Shift

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team at Beaumont Retirement Services, Inc. as a Part Time CNA (Evening Shift-3:00 pm - 11:30 pm).

Job Responsibilities:
  • Perform basic nursing skills, demonstrating knowledge and competence in assisting residents in Activities of Daily Living (ADLs).
  • Demonstrate ability to manage emergency situations and respond accordingly.
  • Work cooperatively with residents, family, and co-workers to provide exceptional care.
  • Knowledge of current state and federal regulations and ability to carry out requirements.
  • Assist residents in maintaining their highest level of independence regarding physical mobility, activities of daily living, and emotional wellbeing.
  • Meet with the Healthcare (HC) staff in care planning, services, programs, and activities.
  • Create a warm and welcoming atmosphere, emphasizing personal interest and positive emphasis.
  • Follow dietary recommendations and care plans.
  • Follow infection control and safety standards.
  • Assist in recreational activities, such as parties, musical events, games, crafts, and transportation.
  • Report status changes immediately to supervisors as appropriate.
  • Follow current practice regarding independent choices and residents' rights.
  • Complete all necessary paperwork at the end of shift regarding care and treatment to each resident.
  • Commitment to resident dignity.
  • Attend and participate in annual mandated in-services and educational programs that promote professional growth and development.
Qualifications:
  • Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
  • Must possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action.
  • Must possess the ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, regulatory agencies, and the general public.
  • Must have patience, tact, a cheerful disposition, and enthusiasm, as well as the willingness to handle difficult residents.
  • Must be a certified C.N.A. enrolled in good standing in the State of PA.
  • Must be able to move intermittently throughout the day.
  • Must be able to cope with the mental and emotional stress of the position.
  • Must be able to assist in the evacuation of residents.
  • Must be a US Citizen or Green Card holder.
