Scope of Work

The RN in this role will utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and discharge patients. The RN will work under the direction of the Nurse Leader and will be responsible for providing quality patient care according to Corewell Health policies and procedures. The RN will also partner with patients and families to develop teaching strategies and document education and learning in the patient's record.

Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you will need to have a current RN license in the state of Michigan and a minimum of one year of acute care experience. You will also need to have a strong foundation in nursing principles and practices, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Specialty certification is highly recommended within two years of hire.

Work Environment

This is a part-time role with a variable schedule, including nights and weekends. The RN will work in a fast-paced emergency center environment, with a focus on providing high-quality patient care. The RN will also have opportunities to collaborate with other healthcare professionals and participate in ongoing education and training.
