We are a state-of-the-art Emergency Center located in Livonia, MI, providing comprehensive emergency care to our community. Our team of board-certified Emergency Medicine Physicians and licensed nursing staff work together to deliver high-quality patient care.
About Livonia Emergency CenterOur Emergency Center is a part of Corewell Health, a leading health system in the region. Our center is designed to provide efficient and effective care, with a focus on getting patients the help they need quickly and safely.
Scope of WorkThe RN in this role will utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and discharge patients. The RN will work under the direction of the Nurse Leader and will be responsible for providing quality patient care according to Corewell Health policies and procedures. The RN will also partner with patients and families to develop teaching strategies and document education and learning in the patient's record.

QualificationsTo be considered for this role, you will need to have a current RN license in the state of Michigan and a minimum of one year of acute care experience. You will also need to have a strong foundation in nursing principles and practices, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Specialty certification is highly recommended within two years of hire.
Work EnvironmentThis is a part-time role with a variable schedule, including nights and weekends. The RN will work in a fast-paced emergency center environment, with a focus on providing high-quality patient care. The RN will also have opportunities to collaborate with other healthcare professionals and participate in ongoing education and training.
