The Finished Goods (FG) Manager is responsible for overseeing the inventory and distribution of completed products. This role operates during the day shift, ensuring that all finished goods adhere to quality standards and are prepared for shipment according to the established schedule. The FG Manager will supervise the finished goods warehouse, manage inventory levels, and collaborate with the logistics team to fulfill customer demands efficiently. This position requires strong leadership and organizational skills, with a commitment to quality and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operational Management: Oversee the finished goods inventory process, ensuring efficient handling and accurate management of products ready for dispatch.
  • Shipping Coordination: Monitor the loading and dispatching of finished goods, ensuring proper packaging and timely delivery to distribution centers.
  • Schedule Management: Manage daily outbound schedules, coordinating with carriers for timely deliveries.
  • System Utilization: Employ Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), MS Excel, and SAP for tracking shipments and monitoring inventory levels.
  • Process Improvement: Adjust outbound processes as necessary to meet shipping deadlines and adapt to fluctuating order volumes.
  • Team Performance Monitoring: Ensure efficient use of labor and resources to meet shipping and inventory targets.

Client Relationship Management:

  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships, proactively addressing shipping and inventory needs.
  • Ensure comprehensive understanding of the finished goods process and client expectations.
  • Respond promptly to customer inquiries and resolve any shipment discrepancies.

Compliance and Documentation:

  • Ensure accurate completion of all shipping documentation and timely submission to relevant departments.
  • Enforce safety standards and policies within the finished goods area, ensuring compliance with health regulations.
  • Maintain a clean and positive work environment in the warehouse.

Team Leadership:

  • Lead and motivate the warehouse team, fostering high productivity and efficiency.
  • Provide training and coaching on inventory management and safety procedures.
  • Assist in the recruitment and training of new team members.

Record Keeping:

  • Maintain accurate records of inventory levels and outbound shipments.
  • Compile reports on inventory status and any shipment discrepancies.
  • Implement data quality checks to ensure accuracy in inventory and shipping data.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in logistics or warehouse operations, focusing on finished goods management.
  • Strong knowledge of shipping and inventory management.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with WMS and SAP.
  • Ability to lead and develop staff in a dynamic environment.
  • Korean bilingual preferred.

Working Conditions:
