Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Superintendent to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing maintenance and reliability services to our facilities, championing executional excellence and asset health improvement efforts.
Key Responsibilities- Provide maintenance and reliability services to our facilities, ensuring optimal equipment performance and minimizing downtime.
- Lead and direct a team of maintenance professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure successful project execution.
- Develop and implement maintenance strategies to improve asset health and reduce maintenance-related losses.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements.
- Manage and maintain SAP database, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information.
- Supervise plant buyer for all goods and services, including MRO and facility services.
- Develop and implement procurement strategies to ensure competitive pricing and timely delivery.
- Provide technical support to maintenance teams, ensuring equipment is properly maintained and repaired.
- Ensure regulatory compliance and maintain a safe working environment.
- Associate or bachelor's degree in mechanical, industrial, or related engineering/technical field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in plant maintenance and reliability engineering or similar technical role.
- Demonstrated ability to lead multi-functional teams and implement process improvements.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of mechanical equipment and systems.
- Experience using root cause analysis and predictive maintenance technologies.
- Knowledgeable in the use of SAP Maintenance or another EAM/CMMS.
- Experience implementing TPM/Lean based continuous improvement in manufacturing environment.
- Experience in continuous industrial processing and equipment.
- Strong negotiation skills and conflict resolution.
- Ability to build and maintain positive working relationships with all team peers and customers.
- Able to impact and effect positive change.
Good oral/written communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to read, write and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to effectively present information in both one-on-one and group situations.
