Work Schedule- 2nd Shift: 4PM - 4AM
- Days: Monday to Thursday
- Overtime: Available
- Hourly Rate: $20 - $22
The Machine Operator plays a crucial role in operating machinery as instructed, while strictly adhering to safety protocols and regulations to ensure the production of high-quality products.
Key Responsibilities- Interprets job specifications to determine necessary machine adjustments and material needs.
- Sets machine stops or guides to specified lengths as per guidelines.
- Monitors machine operations to identify product defects or equipment issues.
- Inspects products for inconsistencies, ensuring they meet quality standards.
- Conducts routine maintenance on machinery.
- Assists fellow operators in machine setup and other tasks to meet production deadlines.
- Maintains a clean and organized workspace.
- May be assigned additional duties related to the job as required.
- High school diploma or GED; or at least one month of relevant experience in a related field; or a combination of education and experience.
- Ability to read and understand safety guidelines, operating instructions, and procedural manuals.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
- Regularly required to communicate effectively.
- Must be able to stand for extended periods.
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 65 lbs. from ground level; team lifting or equipment use is encouraged for heavier items.
- Capable of performing physical activities involving considerable use of arms, legs, and the entire body, including bending, climbing, pushing, pulling, and reaching.
