WORK ENVIRONMENT: In-person

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Ensure safety and reliability in accordance with company policies and OSHA regulations.
  • Gain knowledge of mechanical assembly and electrical components.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workspace.
  • Utilize forklifts and soldering tools effectively.
  • Conduct maintenance, repairs, painting, fabrication, welding, remodeling, and construction on various metal products based on samples and sketches.
  • Perform manual processes such as forging, shaping, straightening, sizing, dressing, and heat treating of metal items.
  • Interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
  • Install metal structures including windows, fencing, doors, and railings.
  • Inspect equipment for proper functionality and necessary maintenance.
  • Operate acetylene cutting torches and welding equipment.
  • Engage in daily check-ins with the direct supervisor.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School diploma or GED required.
  • Ability to comprehend procedures and use tools proficiently.
  • Knowledge of various welding techniques and safety protocols.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Self-sufficient and punctual work ethic.
  • Minimum of 2 years of welding experience or relevant certification.
  • Familiarity with methods, tools, materials, and equipment used in metal welding.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and sketches.
  • Minimal travel required.

COMPENSATION:

Competitive pay rate based on experience.

SCHEDULE:

Monday to Friday, 6:00 am to 2:30 pm.
