Nurse Practitioner Hematology BMT Cellular Therapy Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner to join our dynamic and expanding program in Hematology and Oncology. The successful candidate will be based in our outpatient clinic and will collaborate with our team to provide high-quality care to patients with hematologic malignancies.
Key Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive care to patients with hematologic malignancies, including evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment.
- Collaborate with our multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Conduct thorough assessments and develop treatment plans in consultation with our medical team.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, including lab results and imaging studies.
- Prescribe medications and treatments as needed.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families.
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience as an NP in an outpatient or inpatient adult hematology or oncology program.
- Demonstrated competence in clinical practice, communication, clinical case management, and problem identification/resolution.
- Flexibility to orient and work at all UCSF Medical Center locations.
- One (1) year of experience as a NP at an academic medical center.
- Three (3) years of RN experience in adult hematology/BMT, 3 years of experience in adult oncology, completion of an Oncology Fellowship program or a combination of relevant experience.
- California driver's license (CDL) if required for position.
- Current national certification from an accepted certifying agency and provide by first day of work.
