Job Title: Licensed Therapist

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Licensed Therapist to join our team at LifeLong Medical Care. As a key member of our behavioral health team, you will provide comprehensive psychosocial assessments, mental health diagnoses, and treatment plans for patients with a range of issues, including depression, anxiety, trauma, grief/loss, addiction, domestic violence, and behavioral health problems.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide short-term counseling using appropriate modalities for patients with mental health issues.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with patients and their families.
  • Conduct crisis intervention and triage as needed, including assessment, de-escalation, and notification of the public mental health crisis response team if necessary.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical and administrative records in accordance with contractual and billing requirements.
  • Participate in weekly clinical meetings and promote integrated primary/mental health care in coordination with medical providers and other interdisciplinary team members.
  • Contribute to quality improvement efforts related to behavioral health and integrated models of care.
Qualifications:
  • Current and valid California LCSW, LMFT, LPCC license, or ACSW or AMFT registration with the California Board of Behavioral Sciences.
  • Knowledge and experience providing mental health services to disadvantaged populations.
  • Familiarity with evidence-based practices for the treatment of depression and other mental disorders.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Supervisory experience.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish speaking.
  • Epic and/or medical software systems knowledge.
  • Community healthcare experience.

We offer a competitive annual salary of $68,000-$72,000 for ASW/AMFT, $100,000-$120,000 for LCSW/LMFT/LPCC, depending on years since licensed, and excellent benefits, including medical, dental, vision, Flexible Spending Accounts, dependent and domestic partner coverage, 403(b) retirement savings plan, and loan repayment programs. LifeLong Medical Care is a qualified site for federal and state loan repayment programs (HPSA score is 16). Acceptance rates may vary year to year based on funding levels and the number of applicants.
