Job Title: Electrical Equipment Quality Assurance Specialist

We are seeking a detail-oriented Electrical Equipment Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team in ensuring the quality and functionality of our electromechanical equipment.

Salary:$85,000 - $110,000 per annum

Job Description:

The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing and troubleshooting issues in electromechanical equipment, conducting basic electrical testing, and maintaining existing test and troubleshooting documentation.

Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and troubleshoot issues in electromechanical equipment using problem-solving skills and knowledge of electrical systems.
  • Conduct basic electrical testing, including measuring voltage, resistance, and continuity, and perform isolation testing on sensitive equipment.
  • Execute scripts and queries via a command line interface to analyze data and identify potential issues.
  • Maintain existing test and troubleshooting documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance with industry standards.
  • Interpret functional schematics and circuit diagrams to understand complex electrical systems.
  • Analyze CAN network data for system diagnostics and identify areas for improvement.
  • Identify and report known and new issues with great attention to detail and communicate effectively with the team.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in similar roles with electromechanical systems.
  • Demonstrated triaging and troubleshooting skills to quickly identify and resolve complex issues.
  • Experience with electrical testing and the use of hand tools to measure and diagnose electrical systems.
  • Familiarity with command line interfaces and scripting languages to execute tasks and analyze data.
  • Knowledge of CAN bus tools and data logging systems to analyze and diagnose complex electrical systems.
