Seeking a highly motivated Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to join our team in Fairbanks, AK.

About the Role

This 26-week contract position offers a unique opportunity to work with a dynamic team and utilize your expertise in MRI technology.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate magnetic resonance imaging equipment to produce high-quality images of patients' bodies for diagnostic purposes.
  • Conduct patient studies according to established protocols, ensuring optimal diagnostic quality and patient safety.
  • Interview patients to explain procedures, address concerns, and provide exceptional care.
  • Orient new hires, train staff, students, and trainees on MRI technology and best practices.
Requirements:
  • 2+ years of experience as an MRI Technologist with proficiency in all duties required of a MRI Technologist II.
  • Licensed in the required state.
  • BLS certification.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills.
  • Able to present information effectively in one-on-one and small group settings.
  • Ability to learn relevant applications and technologies.
Compensation and Benefits:

We offer a competitive salary based on 12-hour shifts and 36 hours per week, along with a tax-free stipend amount determined by location. Additionally, you will receive health insurance coverage, 401K matching, and reimbursement for new licensing expenses.
