Seeking a highly motivated Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to join our team in Fairbanks, AK.
About the RoleThis 26-week contract position offers a unique opportunity to work with a dynamic team and utilize your expertise in MRI technology.
Key Responsibilities:- Operate magnetic resonance imaging equipment to produce high-quality images of patients' bodies for diagnostic purposes.
- Conduct patient studies according to established protocols, ensuring optimal diagnostic quality and patient safety.
- Interview patients to explain procedures, address concerns, and provide exceptional care.
- Orient new hires, train staff, students, and trainees on MRI technology and best practices.
- 2+ years of experience as an MRI Technologist with proficiency in all duties required of a MRI Technologist II.
- Licensed in the required state.
- BLS certification.
- Effective oral and written communication skills.
- Able to present information effectively in one-on-one and small group settings.
- Ability to learn relevant applications and technologies.
We offer a competitive salary based on 12-hour shifts and 36 hours per week, along with a tax-free stipend amount determined by location. Additionally, you will receive health insurance coverage, 401K matching, and reimbursement for new licensing expenses.
