Key Responsibilities:
- Package Sorting: Efficiently sort packages for delivery, adhering to FedEx's quality standards.
- Loading/Unloading: Load and unload packages from delivery trucks and trailers, ensuring safe and secure handling.
- Package Handling: Handle packages with care, following FedEx's guidelines for package handling and safety.
- Quality Control: Conduct regular checks to ensure package quality and integrity before dispatch.
- Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with team members to manage package flow and ensure efficient operations.
Requirements:
- Physical Ability: Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and work in a warehouse environment with temperature variations.
- Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and focus on accuracy in package sorting and handling.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills to work effectively with team members and management.
- Flexibility: Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends, during peak holiday periods.
Working Conditions:
- Warehouse Environment: Work in a fast-paced warehouse environment with temperature variations.
- Shifts: Full-time and part-time shifts available, including weekends.
- Seasonal Role: Seasonal role from mid-November through January, with possible extension.
