Job Title: Project Manager Supply Chain

Kiewit Corporation is seeking a highly skilled Project Manager Supply Chain to oversee all aspects of supply chain management for our EPC projects in the Oil, Gas & Chemicals market.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and execute all aspects of supply chain management, from pre-bid to closeout.
  • Manage all supply chain disciplines, including Material Control, Category Buying, Expediting, Supplier Quality Surveillance, Logistics, and Material Management.
  • Negotiate commercial terms and conditions with equipment vendors, material vendors, professional service providers, and subcontractors.
  • Coordinate activities with Category Lead Buyers and plan manpower.
  • Mentor and train supply chain staff to ensure policies and procedures are followed.
  • Locate and assist in the evaluation and qualification of vendors for materials and equipment, subcontractors, and professional service providers.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of procurement and contract management instructions, policies, and procedures.
  • Provide feedback to assist in analyzing market and delivery systems to assess present and future material availability.
  • Resolves vendor or contractor grievances and claims.
  • Reviews purchase order or subcontractor claims and contracts for conformance to company policy.
  • Communicates and enforces supply chain policies & procedures to project teams.
  • Responsible for projections, financial planning, expediting, delivery schedules, and project supply chain reporting.
Requirements:
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel) with general knowledge of database utilization. SmartMaterials and/or SAP experience is a plus.
  • Bachelor's degree in construction management, business, engineering, supply chain management, or equivalent degree and/or a minimum of five years' experience in engineering and/or construction or equivalent work/field/military experience.
  • Must have experience as a Project Manager Supply Chain for EPC projects.
  • Experience as a Project Manager Supply Chain for Oil, Gas & Chemicals market with a proven track record of successfully executed projects strongly preferred.
  • Knowledge of equipment and materials common in Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) projects.
  • Detail-oriented, flexible, and highly motivated with a strong work ethic and professional demeanor.
  • Effective time management and organizational skills with excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to perform multiple tasks efficiently and accurately.
  • Team player with the ability to also work independently to meet fixed deadlines, goals, and objectives.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills.
