Job Description & Requirements

Mass General Brigham is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Emergency Department team in Cambridge, Massachusetts.

  • Specialty: ED - Emergency Department
  • Discipline: RN
  • Duration: Ongoing
  • 24 hours per week
  • Shift: 8 hours, nights
  • Employment Type: Staff

As a Registered Nurse in our Emergency Department, you will provide high-quality patient care, work collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team, and contribute to a positive and supportive work environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct patient care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members

Requirements:

  • BSN required
  • Massachusetts Registered Nurse License required
  • BLS required
  • Must obtain ACLS prior to end of orientation and may not practice independently without ACLS
  • PALS preferred
