This position demands a combination of technical proficiency and project leadership capabilities to achieve significant results.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Architect, deploy, and oversee Red Hat OpenShift container platform environments.
  • Collaborate with development teams to create and launch cloud-native applications utilizing OpenShift.
  • Partner with architects to devise scalable and robust application frameworks on OpenShift.
  • Automate the deployment, scaling, and management of containerized applications.
  • Monitor and enhance the performance of OpenShift clusters and applications.
  • Diagnose and resolve issues associated with the OpenShift platform and applications.
  • Implement security best practices for OpenShift environments, ensuring adherence to company policies and industry standards.
  • Offer guidance and support to development teams on optimal practices for application deployment on OpenShift.
  • Keep abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies related to containerization and orchestration.


Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline; or equivalent professional experience.
  • Demonstrated experience in designing, deploying, and managing Red Hat OpenShift container platforms in production settings.
  • Strong grasp of containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) and container orchestration (OpenShift).
  • Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Ansible, Terraform, or Puppet.
  • Proficient in scripting and automation using Bash, Python, or similar languages.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps methodologies.
  • Solid understanding of networking principles and protocols.
  • Exceptional troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the capability to work effectively in a collaborative environment.
Preferred

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Red Hat Certified Specialist in OpenShift Administration or equivalent certification.
  • Experience with cloud service providers such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Knowledge of Linux system administration and shell scripting.
  • Experience with monitoring solutions like Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK stack.
  • Familiarity with microservices architecture and serverless computing.
