Pharmacy Specialist

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Pharmacy Specialist to join our team at Walmart. The successful candidate will have a strong background in pharmacy practice and be able to provide expert care to customers. This role involves processing prescriptions, administering immunizations, and providing counseling on health care and prescription medication needs.

About the Role:
As a Pharmacy Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and quality of patient care. You will work closely with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans that meet the unique needs of each customer. This role requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
* Process and accurately dispense prescription orders
* Administer immunizations and other medical treatments as prescribed by a physician
* Provide counseling on health care and prescription medication needs
* Maintain confidential information and records as required by law and company policy
* Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans

Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in pharmacy or PharmD degree from an accredited institution
* Active pharmacy license (by job entry date)
* Completion of an ACPE-accredited immunization training program
