Key Responsibilities:

  • Clean and maintain the general appearance and cleanliness of City facilities and amenities.
  • Perform a variety of custodial tasks and duties, including dusting, sweeping, mopping, painting, replacing lights, vacuuming, polishing, and cleaning of offices, break rooms, showers, and restrooms.
  • Regularly emptying of recycling and trash receptacles.
  • Operate a vacuum cleaner, carpet cleaner, and a copier.
  • Exert up to fifty pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to twenty-five pounds of force frequently, and/or up to ten pounds of force constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.
  • Lift and/or carry weights of ten to fifty pounds.

Requirements:

  • High school graduate with the ability to learn and utilize new skills in the area of Custodial work.
  • Any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities.
  • Must possess a valid driver's license.

Working Conditions:

  • The majority of work will be assigned Monday-Sunday, 4:00am to 4:00pm.
  • This is a year-round position.
