We are seeking a highly skilled Radiology Technologist to join our team at Siemens Healthineers. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging team, you will be responsible for performing examinations of patients of all ages to assist in the diagnosis of patient illness.
Key Responsibilities- Diagnostic Imaging Procedures: Perform diagnostic imaging procedures on appropriate anatomical regions according to department procedures and protocols.
- Internal Element Location: Locate and record internal elements of the body, and identify any anomalies indicative of disease, injury, or other medically significant conditions.
- Patient Care: Adjust equipment and calm patients to eliminate test artifacts, monitor patients for potentially dangerous physical and emotional changes, and evaluate test results for clarity and accuracy.
- Communication: Inform physicians of preliminary findings as requested according to department procedures, distribute completed test results to physicians and service providers, and prepare diagnostic information for physician interpretation.
- Equipment Maintenance: Clean and sterilize equipment and work space, recognize equipment malfunctions, and readjust equipment or write referrals for repair.
- Continuing Education: Maintain technical competency through continued education and participation in Siemens training programs.
- Experience: Radiographer background with a minimum of 1 year hospital or 2 years clinic experience required, specifically in ER, OR, Trauma, and Portables.
- Licenses and Certifications: Valid ARRT license, registered in Radiography, and valid CPR certificate.
- Preferred Qualifications: Strong communication skills, ability to interact with client personnel and team members in an autonomous responsible, professional, and ethical manner, and flexibility, reliability, and sound judgment and initiative.
