Job Title: Mold Setter

Job Summary:

The Mold Setter is responsible for the installation, removal, and upkeep of molds and mold components used in the manufacturing process of plastic parts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inspect molds and components for damage and report to the Production Manager
  • Use overhead crane, tow motor, and power tools to remove molds and components from machine
  • Clean molds and components and transport them to and from mold storage area
  • Install and replace hydraulic and water lines of each press as needed
  • Follow all safety rules and regulations

Requirements:

  • Minimum high school diploma or equivalent
  • Basic understanding of hydraulics and limit switches
  • Experience using basic hand and power tools
  • Injection molding experience a plus
  • Mold setting experience a plus
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. periodically throughout the day
