Job Summary:

The Banquet Server is responsible for providing exceptional service to guests and clients at the Wingspread Retreat & Executive Conference Center. This role requires a high level of attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work well under pressure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up banquet rooms according to specifications, including linens, serviceware, and glassware.
  • Attend roll call meetings to learn function particulars and guest expectations.
  • Greet guests and respond to requests in a friendly and courteous manner.
  • Serve food and beverages in the order and to the expectation of the Banquet Captain.
  • Replenish beverages as necessary and check with guests for overall satisfaction.
  • Practice teamwork and cleanliness policies.
  • Reset banquet rooms according to Captain's specifications after each function.

Requirements:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
  • Attention to detail and ability to multitask.
  • Ability to lift and carry heavy objects.

Working Conditions:

The Banquet Server will work in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions. The ability to work well under pressure and in a team environment is essential.
