Job Summary

The Mental Health Worker-CNA plays a vital role in providing direct patient care and technical assistance to the Healthcare Team. As a Certified Nursing Assistant, you will perform clinical skills and nursing procedures with clinical competence.

This position requires one year of experience as a Certified Nursing Assistant and one year of experience in Psychiatry or Human Services. You will participate in improving quality care, documenting patient care activities, and assisting the Healthcare Team in patient care. Establishing positive relationships through communication is essential for this role.

Education: A High School Diploma or GED is required. You must be a graduate of an accredited Nursing Assistant Program or equivalent. Licensure: Current RI Nursing Assistant certification is mandatory.

Responsibilities
  • • Perform clinical skills and nursing procedures with clinical competence.
  • • Participate in improving quality care.
  • • Document patient care activities.
  • • Assist the Healthcare Team in patient care.


Requirements
A high school diploma or equivalent is necessary. One-year experience as a certified nursing assistant and one-year experience in psychiatry or human services are also required.
