Key Responsibilities:
- Assist production teams in minimizing equipment/tool downtime and waste through effective analytical practices, leveraging extensive experience in preventive and predictive maintenance, spare parts management, PLC enhancements, and electrical tasks.
- Oversee maintenance personnel across various shifts, ensuring they receive adequate training and meet performance standards.
- Assign daily tasks, track, and assess the outcomes of Preventive Maintenance via an electronic management system.
- Provide troubleshooting support for machine PLC-related challenges.
- Develop project plans and manage spare parts inventory to guarantee safe and proper maintenance of equipment and tools.
- Collaborate with external contractors on outsourced initiatives.
- Generate purchase orders and procure spare parts as necessary.
- Uphold a positive safety culture, adhering to all company safety protocols.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Associate degree, trade school certification, or journey-worker certification as an industrial electrician and/or mechanic.
- Capability to operate powered industrial trucks and aerial lifts.
Required Experience:
- Minimum of five (5) years in an industrial maintenance environment.
- At least 1-3 years in a supervisory or leadership role within the automotive manufacturing industry.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Proficient understanding of hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, electrical, PLC, and robotic systems.
- Proven ability to use hand, power, and workshop tools, including lathes, Bridgeport machines, and band saws.
- Familiarity with Allen Bradley PLC controls, including RSLogix500 and RSLogix5000 platforms, as well as Panelview and Panelview Plus HMI applications.
- Strong team player with excellent communication skills, capable of engaging with individuals at all organizational levels and external contractors.
- Exceptional problem-solving and leadership capabilities.
- Ability to manage multiple complex tasks across various departments while adhering to safety standards and OSHA regulations.
