Job Title: Die Cutter Operator

We are seeking a skilled Die Cutter Operator to join our team at Amcor Flexibles, LLC. As a Die Cutter Operator, you will be responsible for setting up, die cutting, packing, and wrapping finished products in accordance with client packing specifications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Follow work schedule and keep team informed of schedule changes
  • Print all documentation associated with the job
  • Set up dies for design changes and test dimensional characteristics
  • Prepare and pack all finished goods associated with the job
  • Follow customer sampling program and enter data into shop floor data system
  • Stage and stock packing materials and follow all safety rules
Principal Accountabilities:
  • Ensure all work order information is accurate before production
  • Use personal protective equipment and only Amcor-provided tools
  • Participate in scheduled cleaning on machine and in department
  • Actively participate in Amcor project teams or other improvement events
  • Attend meetings to improve the Wets department
  • Direct assistant's job duties within the shift and support Team Lead with information
  • Communicate with other departments to improve bottlenecks and streaming processes
  • Makes safety the number one priority
Requirements:
  • 1 year of experience in manufacturing and production
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Organizational skills with demonstrated ability to prioritize and multi-task
  • Excellent interpersonal and communicating skills
  • Mechanically inclined
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Lift up to and including 45 lbs
