Veterinary Technician

Village Crossroad Animal Hospital L is seeking a skilled and compassionate Veterinary Technician to join our team. As a Veterinary Technician, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting our veterinarians in exam rooms and surgeries.
Key Responsibilities- Assist veterinarians in exam rooms and surgeries, ensuring the highest level of patient care and safety.
- Perform laboratory tests, such as blood draws and urinalyses, to aid in diagnosis and treatment.
- Conduct minor laboratory work, including preparing and handling biological samples.
- Provide exceptional customer service to clients, answering questions and addressing concerns in a professional and compassionate manner.
- Work collaboratively with our veterinary team to ensure seamless patient care and efficient clinic operations.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in veterinary technology or a related field preferred.
- Current certification as a veterinary technician or technologist (CVT or RVT) or willingness to obtain certification within a specified timeframe.
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience as a veterinary technician or in a related field.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, veterinarians, and other team members.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds and stand for long periods, with frequent bending and stooping.
