Police Officer

Grayson College is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Police Officer to join our team. As a Police Officer, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure campus environment for students, faculty, and staff.

• Patrol college facilities and property to prevent and respond to incidents.
• Investigate suspicious persons, suspected crimes, or nuisances, and gather evidence as needed.
• Perform duties that support the safety and security of the campus environment, including monitoring sporting events and escorting students and staff.
• Train others on various aspects of campus security and emergency management.
• Complete written and/or electronic reports as required by departmental procedures.

• A two-year college degree or completion of a specialized course of study at a business or trade school.
• TCOLE certification required.
• Six months to two years of similar or related experience.
• Must maintain a valid driver's license.
• Must have valid CPR certification or willingness to obtain within the first six months of employment.
