Physician Empire is seeking a highly experienced and accomplished Family Medicine Program Director to lead our residency program in Northeast Alabama. This is a permanent position with a competitive salary and benefits package.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the Family Medicine Residency program, ensuring its success and growth.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve program outcomes and accreditation.
- Recruit and retain top talent, including faculty and residents.
- Collaborate with hospital administrators and other stakeholders to ensure program alignment and success.
- Develop and manage program budgets and resources.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in Family Medicine education and research.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience as a Program Director in Family Medicine.
- MD/DO degree and Board Certification in Family Medicine.
- Eligibility or current AL medical license.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Family Medicine.
- Minimum of 2 years as a core faculty member in an ACGME-accredited Family Medicine residency program.
- Prior experience as a Program Director preferred.
- Fellowship completed in Family Medicine Obstetrics preferred.
