Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Cash Management Specialist to join our team at The Lazzaro Companies, Inc.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the company's cash flow, processing financial transactions, and maintaining accurate records.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and process daily deposits
  • Process credit card payments and research short payments
  • Work with project managers to resolve payment discrepancies
  • Manage supplier waivers and complete closeouts as requested
  • Prepare age and customer credit information for weekly meetings with owners
  • Make collection calls and send emails to customers
  • Balance monthly retainage reports and reconcile credit card statements
  • Investigate credit backgrounds for new customers and enter customer files in Sage
  • Maintain bad debt files and provide backup support for front office duties
Requirements
  • Associate degree in accounting or a related field
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Construction industry experience preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Sage 100 or similar accounting software
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
