The Yard Supervisor will oversee the Yard Crew and provide exceptional customer service in the lumberyard. Key responsibilities include supervising team members, assisting customers, operating a forklift, and maintaining a safe and organized work environment.

• Team Supervision: Train and mentor new team members, coordinate daily workflow, and address employee concerns.
• Customer Service: Greet customers, assign tasks, and respond to customer inquiries.
• Inventory Management: Oversee yard inventory, notify management of inventory needs, and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Safety and Security: Perform routine safety checks on forklifts, maintain a safe working environment, and ensure compliance with company guidelines.

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Certifications: Forklift operator certification and successful completion of on-the-job training.
• Skills: Ability to carry out instructions without supervision, remain professional and courteous, and adjust machine controls quickly.

• Physical Demands: Prolonged standing, moving around the yard and warehouse, and lifting up to 80 pounds.
• Work Environment: Ability to work in various types of weather and may require overtime, nights, weekends, and holidays.
