Industrial Wire Cutter Job Description

Viking Electric is seeking a skilled Industrial Wire Cutter to join our team in Duluth, MN. As a key member of our warehouse team, you will be responsible for performing physical and clerical duties involved in wire cutting, including receiving, storing, picking, cutting, and shipping of wire, cable, and related materials.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Load, unload, and move material in a safe manner manually or by using a forklift, pallet jack, handcart, or other device.
  • Complete paperwork, documentation, and data input in accordance with established procedures.
  • Perform physical and clerical duties involved in wire cutting, including receiving, storing, picking, cutting, and shipping of wire, cable, and related materials.
Requirements:
  • Ability to frequently lift, pull, push, and carry 75 pounds.
  • Able to comprehend oral and written communication skills to effectively read labels, tickets, and other product documentation.
  • Able to accurately use basic math skills.
  • Comfortable using RF devices, computer input, and other warehouse technology.
  • Attention to detail and good time management skills.
