Job Title: Certified Surgical Tech

We are seeking a highly skilled Certified Surgical Tech to join our team at York Hospital. As a Certified Surgical Tech, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our operating rooms.

Job Summary:

The ideal candidate will have a current Maine license/certification and at least two years of recent experience as a Certified Surgical Tech in a Hospital setting. You will be responsible for preparing operating rooms, sterilizing equipment, and assisting surgeons during procedures.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare operating rooms for procedures, including setting up equipment and sterilizing instruments
  • Assist surgeons during procedures, including passing instruments and maintaining a sterile field
  • Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes to the surgical team
  • Maintain accurate records of procedures and patient information
Requirements:
  • Current Maine license/certification
  • At least two years of recent experience as a Certified Surgical Tech in a Hospital setting
  • Current BLS and/or ACLS and/or Specialty Certifications
  • 2 current Clinical References
  • Physical and TB Records
  • Current - Tdap/Flu vaccinations
  • Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella or vaccination records
  • Must be able to pass background/urine drug screening upon accepting an offer
