Job Details

Georgia Military College is seeking a Part-time Food Service Worker to join our team at our Main Campus. As a Food Service Worker, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and sanitation of our cafeteria and dining hall facilities, as well as providing excellent customer service to our students, staff, and faculty.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Dishroom Operations: Ensure all dishes are clean and sanitized to meet GMC and Health Code standards.
  • Cashiering: Ring up sales, handle cash and credit transactions, and maintain a clean and organized cashier station.
  • Line Service: Serve dinners from the food service line, restock salad and deli bars, and assist with salad preparation and kitchen cleanliness.
  • Catering Support: Assist with food preparation, setup, and cleanup at catering events.
Requirements:
  • Teamwork: Ability to work well with others in a fast-paced environment.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and withstand working in extreme heat.
