About the Opportunity

At The Travelers Companies, Inc., our Enterprise Operations teams deliver exceptional customer experiences, drive revenue growth, and foster a culture of innovation and efficiency. The Premium Audit group is responsible for conducting audits on property & casualty commercial lines policies to ensure accurate classifications, exposures, and premium determinations. As a Premium Auditor, you will conduct complex audits with limited oversight, providing guidance to less experienced auditors as needed. Audits may be conducted virtually and/or in-person.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct audits of moderate to highly complex Commercial Lines policies, including Workers' Compensation, General Liability, and Auto, through interview, review, and verification of customer business operations to determine proper classifications.
  • Review financial/accounting records, including payroll, tax returns, and general and expense ledgers, to determine final exposures.
  • Provide audit findings to customers, agents/brokers, and business partners to ensure understanding of changes in premium exposures.
  • Develop relationships with customers, agents/brokers, underwriters, and other internal business partners.
  • Remain informed of changes and current information relative to premium auditing through internal and external resources.
  • May provide guidance to less experienced auditors.
  • May be assigned projects, presentations, and other tasks at the discretion of management.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Three years of Premium Audit experience, including experience auditing multiple types of property and casualty commercial lines policies.
  • Completion of APA 91 and 92.
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
