We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced lecturer to join our Psychology Department at the University of Minnesota. As a lecturer, you will be responsible for teaching undergraduate and graduate courses in psychology, including introductory courses, research methods, and advanced topics. You will also be expected to develop and teach new courses, as well as participate in departmental service and committee work.
Responsibilities- Teach a variety of psychology courses, including introductory courses, research methods, and advanced topics
- Develop and teach new courses, as needed
- Participate in departmental service and committee work
- Advise students and provide guidance on academic and career goals
- Stay current with developments in the field of psychology and incorporate new research and findings into teaching and advising
- Ph.D. in Psychology or related field
- Strong teaching and communication skills
- Experience teaching a variety of psychology courses, including introductory courses, research methods, and advanced topics
- Ability to develop and teach new courses, as needed
- Strong commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion in teaching and advising
