Job Summary

The Respiratory Care Team Leader will function as a frontline member of the Respiratory Leadership Team, utilizing proven interpersonal and problem-solving skills to direct care and ensure consistent workflow. This leader will serve as a role model and mentor to members of the healthcare team, intervening when necessary and escalating concerns to departmental management.

Responsibilities
  • Direct and support clinical staff in fast-paced environments
  • Serve as a resource for respiratory care procedures and protocols
  • Analyze and prioritize patient needs, modifying and implementing care plans as necessary
  • Lead education efforts for staff, physicians, and patients on policies, therapies, and clinical interventions
Requirements

To be successful in this role, candidates must have:

  • 1-3 years of job-related experience, preferably as a Registered Respiratory Therapist or Charge Therapist/Shift Supervisor
  • Demonstrated clinical excellence in advanced and critical care settings
  • Exceptional competency in ventilator and airway management
  • Leadership experience and ability to display effective communication skills
Salary and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $90,000 - $120,000 per year, based on experience. Additionally, our comprehensive benefits package includes medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) matching, and paid time off.
