Camp Director

We're seeking a highly skilled and experienced Camp Director to lead our innovative summer day camp and seasonal break programs. As a Camp Director, you will be responsible for planning and executing a dynamic and inclusive camp experience for children, while ensuring safety, operational efficiency, and profitability.

• Develop and implement local marketing initiatives to attract camp families
• Establish and build relationships with hundreds of camp families
• Recruit, hire, train, and lead seasonal teams of up to 30 staff members
• Oversee logistics, compliance, operations, and inventory management for camp programs
• Manage crisis, emergency, behavioral, and medical response as needed
• Handle customer contact, including responding to inquiries and providing exceptional customer service
• Develop relationships with local schools, PTAs, businesses, and organizations to create promotional opportunities
• Lead online and in-person promotional events and presentations for prospective families
• Manage compliance processes and ensure implementation of company, city, and state required policies
• Manage a six-figure budget for personnel, food, and programming
• Oversee all logistics and inventory management functions for hundreds of items valued in excess of six-figures

• At least 24 years of age with a high school diploma or GED required
• Bachelor's Degree preferred
• At least two prior seasons of administrative or supervisory experience in an organized camp or summer program working with children
• Past management or leadership experience is required; experience hiring and managing teams of 5 or more is preferred
