Job Overview:
Comtech Telecom is seeking an experienced Electronics Production Specialist to join our team on 2nd shift. This senior-level position involves assembling mechanical hardware onto PCB assemblies, de-paneling PCBs, and prepping electronic components for rework efforts.

About the Role:
This Electronics Production Specialist will be responsible for a variety of tasks including assembly, inspection, and quality control. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years' experience in the electronics manufacturing industry, with a strong focus on rework capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assemble mechanical hardware onto PCB assemblies
- De-panel PCBs and prep electronic components for rework efforts
- Inspect work for quality and accuracy
- Collaborate with engineers to process prototype assemblies

Requirements:
- Minimum 5+ years' experience in electronics manufacturing
- Strong knowledge of IPC-610 class II & III / J-STD-001 workmanship standards
- Ability to hand solder and rework SMT, thru-hole components, and wires
- Experience using tools such as hot air, solder pot, and magnifying lamps
- High attention to detail and ability to recognize defects

Work Environment:
This position is performed in a traditional manufacturing environment. The employee must be able to stand for long periods, lift up to 25 lbs, and type/write. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

Estimated Salary:
$65,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience.
