About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Lead Cashier to join our team at Ulta Beauty. As a Lead Cashier, you will be responsible for providing exceptional guest service, processing transactions, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide prompt and courteous service to guests, answering questions and making recommendations on products and services.
- Process transactions accurately and efficiently, handling cash, credit card transactions, and returns.
- Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including the sales floor, cash wrap, and backroom.
- Assist with training and development of new cashiers and other associates.
- Participate in physical inventory preparation, execution, and follow-up.
- Execute receipt of shipment trucks within company guidelines.
- Ensure overall store cleanliness, including restrooms, cash wrap, backroom, and sales floor.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 2+ years of relevant work experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Demonstrated passion for superior guest service and competency for selling, demonstrating experience in exceeding sales goals, and building and maintaining guest relationships.
- Experience addressing guests' concerns and questions promptly and professionally.
- Ability to work well independently and as part of a team, training new hires.
- Proficiency with basic technology, including POS system and Apple devices.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including days, evenings, weekdays, and holidays.
Working Conditions:
- On a regular basis, requires the ability to stand, bend, and lift up to 25 pounds of merchandise for a full-scheduled shift.
Pay Range:
The Colorado pay range for this position is $12.32 - $19.80 per hour, with the opportunity to earn tips and additional compensation pursuant to the company's services compensation plan. Exact pay will be based on position, experience level, and geographic location.
