Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team at San Rafael Healthcare & Wellness Center. As a Certified Nursing Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting our nursing staff in delivering exceptional service to our residents.
Responsibilities:
- Provide routine nursing care to residents, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Assist residents with daily activities, such as eating, toileting, and transferring
- Monitor residents' vital signs and report any changes to the nursing staff
- Assist with medication administration and documentation
- Participate in resident care conferences and contribute to the development of individualized care plans
- Collaborate with the nursing staff to ensure seamless care transitions and effective communication
- Perform other related duties as assigned by the nursing staff
Requirements:
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 25 pounds
- Ability to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
