Compensation:
$33/hour

Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate closely with experienced scientists to achieve team goals and research targets.
- Design, validate, and execute synthesis projects in organic chemistry, peptide synthesis, bioconjugation, purification, and characterization of relevant compounds.
- Maintain meticulous records, conduct independent data analysis, and present findings in both written and oral formats. Critically assess data and results while troubleshooting synthesis challenges.
- Adhere to the policies and protocols established by Lilly Research Labs.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in chemistry or a related discipline with hands-on laboratory experience.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in designing, validating, executing, and analyzing experiments to produce synthetic compounds.
- Proven ability to work autonomously, thrive in a dynamic, team-oriented laboratory setting, and collaborate within cross-functional project teams.
- Advanced training or equivalent experience in peptide synthesis, medicinal chemistry, protein engineering, and/or combinatorial chemistry.
- Excellent communication skills and experience in presenting data in a collaborative environment.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with colleagues and supervisors.
