With further education, you may qualify for certification as a Certified Electronics Technician at either the Associate or Journeyman Level-Medical.

Compensation and Benefits
Instead of incurring costs for training, you will earn a salary while you learn. The Army National Guard offers a structured training program that includes:
  • 10 weeks of Basic Training to develop foundational Soldiering skills.
  • 41 weeks of Advanced Individual Training focused on equipment repair and replacement.
