Nurse Residency Program Details
Prisma Health is committed to providing new graduate nurses with a solid foundation to launch their nursing career. Our Nurse Residency Program combines foundational and specialty-specific clinical core curriculum, quality classes, simulation, one-on-one skills validation, hands-on application with clinical mentors, and professional development. This program is designed for new grad nurses with less than one year of nursing experience.

About the Role
This position offers a competitive salary of $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience. As a Nurse Residency Program Coordinator, you will be responsible for coordinating the Nurse Residency Program, ensuring that all residents receive the necessary training and support to succeed in their roles. You will also collaborate with the Clinical Education Team to develop and implement educational programs for residents and staff.

Responsibilities
* Coordinates the Nurse Residency Program, including scheduling, logistics, and evaluation
* Collaborates with the Clinical Education Team to develop and implement educational programs for residents and staff
* Provides support and guidance to residents during their residency period
* Evaluates resident progress and provides feedback to improve performance

Requirements
* Associate's degree in Nursing required
* Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred
* Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing program approved by the South Carolina State Board of Nursing required
* Work experience may NOT substitute for education requirement
* No previous experience is required
* Candidates with greater than 12 months of experience are not eligible
* Licensed to practice as a RN in South Carolina
* BLS required
